Day 1: Monday, June 14th

  • 9:00am EST - 9:45am / 3:00pm - 3:45pm CET: Welcome to the Product-Led Growth Week. Quick overview of the week and opportunity to meet your fellow startup colleagues.
  • 10:00am - 11:00am EST / 4:00pm - 5:00pm CET: Growth Marketing & User Acquisition w/ Luis Guzmán (Growth Marketing Lead). Learn how to acquire users & how your product should be the main driver for growth. 
1:1 Hands-on sessions
  • Strategy Deep Dive (1 hr) to be scheduled individually. w/ Fernando Dal ReRicardo Sangion, Brooke Richardson or Edgard Duque (previous founders who have accelerated 50+ startups). Discuss and receive feedback on your strategy, vision, how you have gotten to where you are, where you are looking to go (goals), your GTM and fundraising strategy.

Day 2: Tuesday, June 15th

Interactive group session
  • 10:00am - 11:30 am EST / 4:00pm - 5:30pm CET: Measuring Your Startup Health with David Smith (VP, Data & Analytics). Discover how you should be tracking and assessing your startup growth.
1:1 Hands-on sessions
  • Strategy Deep Dive (1 hr) to be scheduled individually. w/ Fernando Dal ReRicardo Sangion, Brooke Richardson or Edgard Duque (previous founders who have accelerated 50+ startups). Discuss and receive feedback on your strategy, vision, how you have gotten to where you are, where you are looking to go (goals), your GTM and fundraising strategy.

Day 3: Wednesday, June 16th

Interactive group session
  • 9:30am - 11:00am EST / 3:30pm - 5:00pm CET: Go for the Gold - Fundraising Strategies with Andy Areitio (Partner at TheVentureCity). Learn about how a VC firm works, milestones required to unlock VC money, the basics of fundraising, dilution, Vanity Capital vs. Venture Capital, How VCs make decisions and what materials you should prepare when fundraising.
1:1 Hands-on sessions
  • Product & Growth Deep Dive (1 hr) to be scheduled individually w/ Víctor Servin (CTO), Roberto Navas (VP of Engineering), Andrés Fajardo (VP of Product) or Luis Guzman (Growth Marketing Lead). Dedicated time to discuss your current challenges, product approach and growth tactics.

Day 4: Thursday, June 17th

Interactive group session
  • 10:00am - 11:30am EST / 4:00pm - 5:30pm CET: Leadership for Growth with Jimena Zubiria (VP of People & Comms). Our VP of People will guide you through the foundation to build your company culture "brick by brick".
1:1 Hands-on sessions
  • Product & Growth Deep Dive (1 hr) to be scheduled individually w/ Víctor Servin (CTO), Roberto Navas (VP of Engineering), Andrés Fajardo (VP of Product) or Luis Guzman (Growth Marketing Lead). Dedicated time to discuss your current challenges, product approach and growth tactics.
  • Potential additional 1:1 data review to be scheduled individually w/  David Smith (VP, Data & Analytics) or Garoe Gonzalez (Product Data Analyst). Time to review Growth Scanner result indicating the health of your startup (pending sufficient data).

Day 5: Friday, June 18th

Close of the Product-Led Growth Week
  • 9:00am - 10:30am EST / 3:00pm - 4:30 pm CET: At the end of the week, you will have 3 minutes to pitch to TheVentureCity Investment Team.

Frequently Asked Questions

What do we look for in startup teams?
We’re looking for data-driven software startups in pre-seed / seed stage that have formed within the last two years. You should have at least two full-time team members in product / tech and have launched in the market, showing initial signs of usage & retention. All industries & geographies are welcome to apply.

What are the terms of the week?
The week is completely cash and equity free. You will automatically be eligible for potential First Ticket investment of $100k-$300k & hands-on Product-Led Growth support, however this is not guaranteed.

What are the week sessions like?
Each session will be led by one of our in-house experts covering topics from product strategies, growth tactics, user acquisition, fundraising, etc. Our team has held high-level roles at some of the biggest tech companies in the world including Facebook, Google, Pinterest and Whatsapp. There will be plenty of time for Q&A. Please note the week is completely virtual so all sessions will be hosted via Zoom.

What is the time commitment?
It will run for one week starting Monday, June 14th until Friday, June 18th and consists of mandatory 1:1 Strategy Deep Dive and Product & Growth Deep Dive (3.5 hours total), mandatory participation in Pitch to TheVentureCity Investment Team, all Group Sessions are optional.

Does participation in Product-Led Growth Week increase my chances of First Ticket investment?
It is not guaranteed, however, being selected as part of the 10 startups for Product-Led Growth Week does give you a better opportunity to meet and get to know TheVentureCity team to see if there is a potential fit for investment now and for the future.

How many people from my team can participate?
To get the most out of the week, a minimum of 2 people from each startup team should participate in each session.

At the end of the week, candidates will be considered for First Ticket potential investments of ($100k-$300k) in addition to our 5 month Product-Led Growth Support
